Today when we looked at the celery stalk......

Today when we looked at the celery stalk it had turnd blue and green and the leaves turnd green and blue. We lisind to a book called Faithful elephants it was a really sad story because there was John,Tonky and Wanly they had to die because they didn't want anyone geting flatend. We had library and 6 people forgot there book's! We also had gym and we had 6 staitions they were soccer,skiping/hola hoops,limboing under  hoola hops/ bean bag lancher,tennis. We had Mad muinites and two people got into the 50plus club.

On this Magnificent Monday.........

We did are unit 4 words for word work. In the afternoon right after last recess mrs.a brought a stalk of celery and we put it in blue and green food colouring with water in a glass.  We are going to wait until tomorrow to see what happens. first period in the morning we had gym and we played tennis and it was fun. after gym we had carpet time and then we wrote in are t.i.s books for10 min before recess and then after recess for 5 min. at recess a lot of people made snowmans. they were big. after lunch recess we did math. At recess Emma,Jenna,Ella,Addy,Brooke,Amy,Nathan and Caitlin built a snowman outside.  Ella brought a carrot for the nose and Caitlin brought grapes for the eyes,buttons and mouth. right before lunch we did reading and a reading bands. right before we did reading.we also did spelling. today we also did science. in math we did breaking down numbers. Today we had an awsome day

This Week at School (TWAS)

This week at school we made delicious pumpkin muffins.We also we got our book orders and we watched you tube videos about Remembrance day and that we should remember all the soliders that died in the war.We also had alot of fun at our halloween party and Ariella was are star student. Also we did word work . It was hared. No It was really hard. Yesterday we went to the grade 5/6es classroom and made frendship bookmarks. It was easy but very fun. It was cool. Today we made a book mark with our learning buddies. It was a lot of fun!! Our learning buddies are grade 5 and 6. We also learned about the people who died in the war. We also made crosses, and now they are on the bulluton board at the front of our classroom!!! Keep poasted for more blogs!!!

The Grade 3 UNICEF Campaign

I almost forgot to mention that our class has surpassed our goal of raising $350.00 for UNICEF. We have brought in $407.00 ......so far!

The entire school has raised $1412.26 to date. This is about $12.00 more than what we had for a final total last year.

Baking Pumpkins

One of our Blog followers wants to know if we REALLY baked pumpkins. The answer to that question is a resounding "YES". Last Friday, after we measured, weighed and the counted seeds in six small pumpkins (one for each table group), we cut them open and put them into the oven at a far too high temperature! They were rescued as soon as Miss S. (our student teacher), who has a very keen sense of smell, realized that they were getting scorched. After they cooled, a few of the students had the "pleasant" task of scraping the remains into a bowl for future use. The future came today in the form of delicious pumpkin muffins. This was a long answer to your question Dave! Are you a believer now?

This Tremendous Tuesday

On this tremendous tuesday we baked pumpkin muffins.We baked the pumpkins last week and used them for the muffins. Thanks to the moms that helped us with it. After baking we did R.Y.F.O. and a  B.A.N.D.S. entry and L. to. R . We went down to the computer lab and some of us shared our power point presentaions. After lunch we set our November goals.In phys. Ed we played Tennis  it was like a tournament. Tomorrow we will make a healthy eating graph.
